The Care Services Development Initiative (CSDI) is a partnership between the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) and the Department of Health's Care Services Directorate (CSD).

It provides an opportunity to combine SCIE's knowledge-based approach with strategic development capacity for care services, which will have a real impact on policy formation and influence on the delivery of services.
