About CSDI

The Care Services Development Initiative has identified a number of areas of work, which it is interested in taking forward:

• Theme 1: Creating an integrated service improvement vehicle
• Theme 2: Putting service users at the centre of social care and health services
• Theme 3: Making a difference 'on the ground' - perceptibly improving the experience of service users
• Theme 4: Making a significant improvement in the public perception of social care

Underpinning each of these areas of work is the initiative's objective to promote and expand partnership working.

We already have a number of projects underway - notably supporting the development of the Vision and Framework for Social Care.

We are currently engaged in a round of discussions to establish the level of interest in projects, which could be supported by CSDI and would be interested in discussing any ideas or proposals. We would also be happy to discuss the CSDI and how it can support your work and objectives more generally.
